Sofia Djohar, Principal Banker, Sustainable Infrastructure, Middle East and Africa, EBRD will speak on the plenary session “Best practices of LRA contribution to the Global Gateway strategy” on Monday 8 December at the Cities & Regions for International Partnerships 2025 Forum. The panel will provide examples of how Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs) can access financial instruments such as blending and guarantee schemes under the Global Gateway.  

Co-organised by the European Committee of the Regions and the European Commission – DG INTPA, the 9th Forum “Cities and Regions for International Partnerships” is dedicated to the contribution of Local and Regional Authorities (LRAs) to the EU’s Global Gateway strategy. The Global Gateway is the European Union’s strategic offer for sustainable and responsible investments around the world.
