The Cairo Governorate invites local stakeholders to a consultation workshop on the City’s Green City Action Plan (GCAP).

The workshop will include the following topics:

• Presentation of progress to date - environmental and sectoral challenges identified.
• Presentation and discussion on the draft vision and strategic goals on thematic areas (to address challenges identified).
• Presentation and discussion on draft longlist of actions (which are designed to help realise the vision and strategic goals)
   

The EBRD has engaged a consortium comprised of international and local experts led by AtkinsRealis, Enova, and Chemonics Egypt Consultants. The Workshop will be moderated by these experts.

Outcome of the workshop will help set the vision and strategic goals, and actions for the preparation of the Cairo Green City Action Plan (GCAP).
